Friend or Foe

You can go back and forth in your head about the haters and the fakers and the whoever.
Thinking back to Jay-Z's song "Friend or Foe" you really begin to see the clear view. We all go through the same things.

People come and go.
People pretend.
Some don't wont show.

Some who you never thought were even your friends, are closer than those you honestly thought were.

A quote from a reader...

"the goal in life shouldn't be to try and have as many friends as possible..

it should be finding good ppl..

ppl who wont f*ck u over..

ppl who will go out and beyond of their way for you."

People this is as true as the sky is the color it seems to be to you.
Remember each person who hurts you. You don't have to get them back, that'll happen regardless whether your there or not so be sure you don't get it back again just for being there, let it sort itself out.

The point is to know who will be there for the long run, not for the time being.
Those who might seem to wanna help you but only want to help themselves.

Be in mind, some don;t know right or wrong as far as what you see it, doesn't mean you have to compromise your morals. Be yourself. Follow your heart. Leave the excess baggage behind, no matter how much you wanted to bring it along. It just wasn't meant to be. Everything that is... will be. Promise.

And that's Real Talk.

The world spinning out of focus

Today we remember the days when things used to be simple.
Things were easier to maintain.
Life was fast, but not to the point where we forgot where the time went.
These days are short, but worth every second of every minute of every hour.

I beg you all to take a look at the years prior through photos, notes, crafts, or anything you have.
See where you've been.
What did you do different?
Who or What was the main focus?
What have you accomplished compared to this year?
Do you feel the same?
What are your plans for next year?

Finding Your Calling

We all work the same jobs, doing the same things on a daily.
What about those dreams we used to have about trying new things?
Moneys a little low so the spending on newer education is something you like to put on the back burner for the time being.
Not everything costs an entire degree.
Night schools allow you to have the same access to some of the same jobs that require degrees.
For instance, a technical certification.
You are certified to do the same job, if not better because of the intense training for only that field and not so much rounded on other ones that have nothing to do with your program.

How about Do-It-Yourself?
Did you know a good portion of people these days learn tricks of the trade through online courses?
What about articles that caught your interest?
No one says you need a degree, but it does open many more doors than not having one.
Some fields can't be taught.
Art, creativity, etc.
No matter the topic, there are basic grounds for everything unless you made it up last night.
Even being a photographer or painter, there are certain rules that will better you later on for all your rebellious ways about going around the system.

Believe me, the system is a pain but it is worth to know the basics.
Fundamentals will carry you much further than just humping on the boat and going full speed.

It's never too late to carry out your dreams.
If you want to be a rock star, get rid of the stage fright.
If you need music, but you have the lyrics... find a good band who needs direction.
Everything and anything is possible. Well flying cars aren't here yet, but they will be.

Some things you might have given up on, but it's never too late to get started.
No matter the age; young or old, there is still time to move onto something else.
The mind is too big despite it's size.
We only use a small percentage of its capacity.
If you want to learn how to juggle fire, now would be the time to start learning to juggle some tennis balls and slowly moving onto tennis balls on fire. Just hopefully not too soon, anything can happen with fire.

So do what you have to do, time is on the go and never stops for anyone.

Be everything you wished for, and start managing your way to become successful at it.

Time is borrowed and we never know what can happen so get on the move.

You don't have to be stuck anywhere. All you need is the motivation and spirit to get you moving.

Doing is a lot harder than talking about it.
Who says you have to leap?
Today focus on just finding out about the steps you can take to go somewhere else in your career path or mindset.
All it takes is a few words to get you hooked, and a few moves to get you out there.

The mind is the most powerful tool.
You can do anything.

And that's Real Talk.

The beginning

Since way back when you think back to when things were 10000 times easier.
What happened?
You either grew up or there's something in the milk....or both.

There's not doubt that the people of today versus the people of yesterday are a lot more exhausted than necessary.
This is due to increase in stress, money issues, stuff in our foods (there's a reason why the dollar menu exists), and certainly the issue of the insecure world where everything depends on the MTV or magazines.

Naturally, back then none of this existed so you depended on yourself and your remedies to take you through any BS you can come up with.

Today's society is based on the outside appearance. Not everyone, just mostly everyone.
Yet, we're still tired. Everyone's trying to make something out of themselves, or are just doing whatever to pass the time.

People are a lot more secretive, too.
Even with facebook, twitter, etc.
Everyone wants everyone to know their business, but yet none of it all at the same time.

Shame is at an all time low, yet you would think that would be a good thing.
It's neither here nor there.

Being tired is basically the biggest problem today.
How can you spend money on the economy when you're spending it on everything else?
How can you save when you're spending too much?
How can you think when everything else is on your mind?

Unfortunately, you can't fix things over night.
You can't become a great athlete just because you put on your sneakers finally.

Everything is hard work.
Saving money is hard work.
Feeding and clothing your children is hard work.
Getting through your day at times is hard work.
Stress is a negative component to your daily move.
Stress is easily piled up if you think too much, when its not creative thinking.

They say you are your worst enemy.
It's true.
No matter how many fights you get into, break-ups you endure, or even quick gains or losses you watch happen before your very eyes; at the end of the day, you still gotta see tomorrow and deal with your personality and hidden negatives.

Money is a huge factor to all stress.
Money can make or break a man's thought process.
Money can cause you to sit out of things you didn't want to.
Habits are also controlled by money.

Point is, if you're tired its probably because you're depressed from money, life, kids, significant other, etc.

Money is still the center of all evil, but it will make sure you can get by until tomorrow and thereafter.
The man wants his doe too so don;t forget that part.
Every little you get, the man wants his cut.
Don't like it?
Stay broke.
What else could you do with your day without money?
Could you eat without any surplus in your fridge?
Could you go out to the store when it's more than 5 miles away and your legs aren't so hot?
Could you call someone, when your cellphone bill's 175 overdue?
Could you play scrabble? Did you forget you threw that out when you did spring cleaning?

All in all, you got to start making changes.
Eat less Mickie D's, eat more deli cuts and fruits and veggies.
(Reminder: Fruits and veggies contain a lot of water...you will stop feeling so hungry after a few carrots or grapes..if not..drink some more water)
Save up your money. All those trips to the gas station, convenience store for cigarettes, and dollar menu's add up.

When was the last time you took a look at your budget?
Not so healthy.
Almost like the way you feel, except your wallet is starting to want to sleep too.

And that's Real Talk.

Eyes on the Prize

For being such a ice breaker between working on Monday and the relaxation you endured on Saturday, today out of all days is the day to finish what you started whirl still having time or the delivery of Chinese and kicking the feet up to a good movie.
So much possible on a Sunday. Not once have I ever heard of a really bad Sunday. Sundays are meant for heavy sleep, deep relaxation, or just spend time with yourself and/or loved ones.
Don't get too crazy on a Sunday. Monday is definitely coming with a bang.
This week we can be sure to reflect on our past where we were a year ago and how we stood compared to how we stand this year.
I feel as if many among this world have been dealing with their problems harder and harder while there are still others too young or too old to be bothered. Makes you wish you were young again, not sure if I'd like to speed up the aging process.

There is still so much to do in this life of ours. Goals have yet to be met.
Today, however, is still the day to relax and take it upon yourself to just relax. Have a drink, some food, and some TV or magazine/newspaper.

The world never stops, doesn't mean you can't stop to smell some roses and just kick the sneakers off.

And that's Real Talk.

Cycling

We sit around thinking about what's going to happen to us next.

Some of us have so much going on we wonder if it'll ever end.
But this is that cycle we know or have heard about.
Life is a continuous cycle. It starts and stops, but never shuts down.

Some days we wish were over, some we wish would never end.
We ride the roads until they stop, but then we turn to a new direction.
Roads end, paths are endless.

A road is defined by the concrete visible to the eye. Beyond it are "no trespassing" signs and such.
Some will cross those lines, others will respect them.
Breaking rules require a lot from each of us, usually never recommended but sometimes we just have to. And the end result to most of these things are beautiful. Some tragic.
The cycle keeps going, however. The cycle brings us back and forth from place to place.
Call it karma. Call it whatever.

We keep going and going and where do we actually end up? Usually where we started.
Life is tricky, but you eventually learn the ropes and remind yourself or learn how to handle the exact same situations after they come to you over and over.

Some stay in front of the mirror wondering what's wrong with them. Others refuse to accept the things they do that are wrong.

Regardless of anything in this life, we learn, we live, and we love and lose.
This life of ours is not about winning. If it were, it'd be boring.
All of our sorrows, pains, and regrets turn into powerful things in the future.
Think about every thing that makes you angry, you eventually one day will turn to someone else and express the same emotion for them to feel the same way towards you as you did earlier for someone else. The cycle.

Sacrifices are usually a huge part of things. You want something bad enough you will do anything to get it. For others, we have to give those up because of how it'll affect us later with the emotions of another.

You forget about cheating, or you just cheat anyways.
You forget about lying to someone, or you lie anyways and somehow get lied to.

Sometimes you notice that when you do the right thing, the wrong thing happens to you.

My suggestion to this, is to wait. Wait until you see the final end result of the situation. It's not over. You'll know when its over.

For those who think they never get their opinion voiced, why do you care so much. There are plenty of other people who are asking you personally. If they take all the credit, at least you know THEY know who deserves it.

A humble person doesn't need to know who gets the credit. The humble person accepts life as it is and in return is satisfied with letting another day be made of its use. In the end it's not about the credit.
When was the last time you sat around and gave thanks to George Washington Carver for making peanut butter? Possible but doubtful.
Be humble. Don;t worry so much about other people's opinions. Don't let your own opinion be mixed up with another's view. A good heart, will remain a good heart. A bad heart or one on the verge, will remain black until a light reveals its true identity. And that in the end is on that person. No one else. A little bit of love and care from family and friends never hurts either. But we all know it's never enough on the inside.

So let everything go. Live life. Forget the nay-sayers.

You have nothing to regret. For those who have been cheated from things that meant the world to them, be patient.

Like a wise person once said, "the truth always comes out."

And that's Real Talk.

Weak and Depleted

The air is getting thinner.
The sun is getting brighter.
The cold is getting chillier.
The strong and the weak are becoming best friends this time around the year.

With everyone going crazy getting presents, arranging Thanksgiving dinners and such it becomes hard to take care of the most important thing you own out of all your accessories in your bedroom. You.
Increases in cold and flu are dramatically rising. Soap, anti-bacterial just won't cut it.
Notice how every time you sneeze or cough you might take your closest thing to cleansing and get clean. Is this enough? Not at all. The germs prior to wiping yourself down are still active.
As crazy as commercials are, they are sometimes not too far off.
If you have Lysol spray or anything in the house, after you've come home from work or a long day sneezing and driving, take that can and spray it around. The cold will kill whatever it can, but not everything. Taking 99.9% from a can and combining with the cold science could just be your ticket.

They say take your Lysol can and spray it in front of you as you walk into it. Could this be true? Sure. You breathing in toxins might make sure you never have a cold ever again though. Ever.

Let's not get too crazy. Simple steps could lead to your health getting better easier and faster.
Take your Vitamin C's and D's. Sun won't be out everyday this week.
If you're very sick, exercising is not for you. They say you can sweat out a sickness, and I agree. But your body suffering more damage will not help at all. Sleep it off. Every morning, open your bedroom window for 5 minutes to re freshen the air in your room. Spray some Lysol before you leave.

This all might sound like extra work, it's not. I just have a tendency to drag things out and make them seem far worse.

Your health is the most important thing.
You remember that one Holiday where everyone was laughing and having a good time, while you had that awful ear infection with a bad cough. Realize no one is around this ear to put your big head on their small laps. Even if you have a small head, come on.

Alcohol.
Tasty, fun, and also kills bacteria!
Sounds crazy, but definitely cool.
Those of you who enjoy that big glass of beer or wine. Those who enjoy those hard shots.
This might be your ticket as well.
Whoever would have thought your weekend habits might pay off for you now.
Let's aim for you to not be that person this year.

If you're not into heavy drinking or even hot hard to the throat shots. Try it this time.
More alcohol in a drink, the better.
I'm not saying get drunk, but we all know once we start we can;t REALLY stop. Well, I can't at least.
So get a little tipsy, and be sure to keep warm.

In fact, everyone reading this should keep your chest as warm as possible.
Some signs of being sick is getting too hot in a coat that normally doesn't make you sweat.
Whatever you do, your body is not as hot as you may think it is.
KEEP WARM!
Your parents have told you over and over again as a child to keep that scarf on, keep those socks on, whatever. Do it. Don't think you can battle the winter of winters alone Beast Master.
Even with a wizard on your side, you will not win this one. Fantasy land won't keep you from making a trip to your local Dr.'s office.

Let's play it safe and keep ourselves on a much higher level of thinking.
We can't think clearly when snot is running down our nose every 3 seconds when you just wiped it off 2 seconds ago. Think about it. Who REALLY pays for this one?

And that's Real Talk.

The man wants his relief..

When will mine come?

Today Americans and many across the globe are being stuck into bigger debt than ever before.
We don't realize the consequences of our debts when the payments become nothing but fragments to a much bigger pot.

The interest rates are what kill us and adding to the pot when we pay things off is all the wrong.

However,
The companies making their profits in the sense aren't really the bad guys. We as people like to spend what we don't have naturally. Pay it off later as we say. Later is here and the payments are not going to be enough.

So what do we do in times of desperation especially with the holidays coming up and the job losses increasing?
If you ever thought about working for the government, you might have to if you didn't before.
Naturally those who have the BEST bonuses for working is a government owned operation.
Any benefits anywhere else never compare. Why is this? Think about it.
Our so called freedoms are limited. Everyday we cause ourselves to lose more and more of them by complaints or over-exaggerations in situations. This is probably why no one will hire anyone in anywhere for any reason. We don't want to lose money we don't have. Workforces don't either.

The lawsuits pile up from dirty crimes, which leaves less openings for those with bigger mouths in a sense.

Many have lost homes.
Many have lost lives.
Many have lost the will.

It's time to start spending correctly. Stop giving back so much to those who don't need it.
I don't mean stop paying for food for you and your friends.
Just don't always be the only one.
Don't be so hard with your money that you can;t treat when others are treating.
Money isn't everything. (At least until your out of your hole)

Moral of the story is,
Our lives are becoming consumed with irrelevance. Things we don't need to have.
Money is being thrown away and we barely see it just because we rely on impressions from others who in the long run won't really ever be there again.
But that isn't 100% truth. Some people will stick around for more goodies ;).

So start revving up your checking accounts with your savings.
Stop using the credit card unless you know you can pay the entire balance off within 2 weeks.
Think about the money you'll save on not relying on the charge.
It's killing everyone's pockets.
The ones who have your money, lost it in Vegas.

And that's Real Talk.

Rotaries and Grinders

The oil in our life is the smoothness in our ride through this journey.

We need to replace it once in a while or we break down.
No one is indestructible. Human wise at minimum.

For the next stop, make it a big impact.

For those of you who have the eyes of children on your character,
give them something to take home this weekend.
Give them a hero.
Give them a reason to want to stick to the script.

And on this journey, make as many pit stops as you can to refuel that tank you call mind and body.
The roads are nasty, the tires are balding, and the eggs are overcooked this morning.
This is the true meaning of doing well.
Without the struggle, the challenge, we are just standing here waiting for a purpose.

Remember wanting to be a firefighter or doctor as a kid?
You didn't exactly take care of what was necessary to become those idols at the time, but as you grew, you started to have a different idea of what a true idol in your life could be.

Some of you became accountants, and we know how much we love the math when it adds up in our favor.
Some of you became strong machines in sports, a reason to give other children the feeling of closeness with a parent, and a different idol in real life to want to at least be on the straight path to success, not just in the professional suit and tie world.
Some of you run a website.
Some of you run a dog shop.
Time is not ours to determine, but to make very every use of it as we could possibly use.
For many reasons we will never understand, almost every 7 years our taste develops.
The engine is wearing down, so you want to do less.
I say the engine's still good. Keep driving. Push for the limits if you have to.
Make no mistake about what you wanted in the first place. Just make sure you have time to stop and say hello and eat something, too.

And that's Real Talk.

The Sickness

The sickness is spreading.
Disturbed by the way things are headed, is there any time for relief?

The pockets of many are getting smaller.
Bills are increasing.
Daylight is the only sign of freedom.

E-Commerce is in a meltdown.
E-mailing seems to be the only form of connecting with one another.

We need to wake up.
We need to learn to breathe again.
We need to forget the ugly sides of things.
We need to remember those who showed us what it is to smile.

Direct deposit got your account number wrong.
Paypal is closed this week when you needed the extra $40.
Your credit card's APR increased without notice.
Your best friend is your worst enemy.

Today we say goodbye to the pain.
Today we say goodbye to the hate.
Today we say goodbye to the darkness.
Today we say hello, I'm still standing.

Today I will pet my dog or cat.
Today I will call my sibling.
Today I will not be the victim.
Today I will not be the sickness.

And that's Real Talk.

The Warrior

It's not about how many of this or that you can do.
It's not even about your accomplishments this past year, or even earlier.
It's never about how much better or worse you are than your so-called opponents.
It's not about how much change in your pocket.
It's not about the car in your driveway.
It's not about the world.

It's about the animal you are, and forever will be.
It's about the things you haven't done.
It's about the things you couldn't get off your chest in time.
It's about a passion left behind, not forgotten.
It's about the hunger in your stomach when you know your full.

You are the opponent of a lifetime that you have yet to face.
Every year you change, so the challenger in you does too.
Mistakes have been made, more are to come.
Last year's present could become this year's gift to someone without.
The eyes on your back, from any rise you've accomplished have set you back. Why?

The goal for today is to finish what you started.
Start what you have been thoughtful of.
Call a family member, relative or friend.
Change will come, if you ask for it.
Be careful what you wish for.

Never accept defeat.
Never settle for less.
Pave the road to greatness.
Pave the stones to your legacy.

You are the Warrior.
You are the reason why you woke up today.
Give the world back what it's given you.
Dust off any negative vibes.
Be the bigger person.
You are the hunter, not the hunted.

Someone is thinking of you, you are thinking of someone.
Send them a letter in the mail, or a call on the phone.
Today you forget texting or e-mails exists.
A voice makes the heart warm.

Appreciate your existence.
The Warrior never stops moving.
The Warrior never stops eating.
The Warrior never stops existing.
The Warrior never stops plotting.
The Warrior never stops.

Tomorrow you will face a new challenge. Lucky you.
Seriously.

And that's Real Talk.

Getting Paid

Worth.

What do we consider it.
We each have our own values. Whether it's family, friend, money, or living-oriented we all have set or predetermined values.

Did you ever think about self worth?
How much are you worth?

Many people encountered have always said the same thing.
"I gotta get paid."
Well, how do you suppose we as humans challenge ourselves, especially when we are inexperienced in our fields, even if it's a self owned business.

You might tend to overprice and under-price your skills.
When can we ever get the doe correct?

In this day and age, if you haven't noticed, gas has gone extremely high, while morale has gotten low.
You want to make that extra $5, because it's worth every penny in the 500 count. May not be a lot to some, but more than enough to others.
How do we determine value in oneself?

The recession has taken a huge toll on everyone. Cellphone bills, car payments, groceries, and what's coming up soon? The holidays. Presents for everyone, or will there be?

To get your math correct, you pretty much have to play the guessing game. You become the car salesman in a sense.
You start with one price, and then you adjust to get the sale. This happens in almost every aspect of life. Until you become the head honcho where you can afford to name any price and it is a global price, you might have to sacrifice a little bit at first.

I want the money now!
Sorry, it doesn't work that way.
When you're starting up your newest idea for a business, be in mind that no one has ever even heard of you. Those who have are your first customers.

If your price is 30 an hour or 15 an hour, be in mind you can get away with 20-25 easily. $30 an hour though, is too high if you already know you yourself wouldn't pay the price. Also, lowering your standards to where your not completely dissatisfied might achieve long term business. This is much better than the $30 an hour here and there. Now we're up to 20-25 consistently.

Long term outweighs short-term.
Be mindful of your talents, however. If you demand 30 and you feel the value itself is 35. I think we can manager saying no to a few people. Don;t get too caught up in the sale, it could be bad for business later on.

The hungrier you are, the less ego-centric you become.
Remember, a penny saved is a penny earned.
Don't let pride get in the way of a down the road opportunity.
But don't let yourself become a victim of short change.
Remember, quality brings quantity and so you don't have to settle for less, when the market is in your reach for a gain somewhere down the line.

Freebies.
There is nothing wrong with freebies. Freebies will get your portfolio out there quickly and efficiently. However, remember the rules of a dog. If you feed it enough times, it'll keep coming back for more without any thought of a different story. Feed me, feed me.
In this case, over-time short changing is most definitely in effect.
After say five projects, it is safe to assume that you don;t have to charge full price. Half of the normal value is even a little over-doing it for anyone who's helped you become successful. (Assuming a huge thank you and steak dinner was provided)
Charge 1/3 the price after a while. They will appreciate it, and you will appreciate yourself for not being a rag on the stool used for wiping down tables.
Be strong in your place.
Your not the bad person if the times are hard enough to ask for pennies.
Freebies are more than OK when business is booming.
If they're not, don't be afraid to ask for even a few dollars.
Your broke, not a joke.

If you have no business, this is where you drop your guard completely. You have no room for basing anything on anything. This period in the stage of becoming successful is not as long in the time period as you think. Things will change, and the past will be exactly what it is.

Be fair, don't get played out, and most importantly have faith in your ability. Things will work out.

And that's Real.

For Real For Real

Time is too short these days. Getting older, especially if boredom is a key factor to your downfall in the wake up trying to get back to a lifestyle or back on your workout routine or even back on your grind at work. There's always something pulling you back. When you let it, chaos and fast times.

If you haven't realized in your life that when you are doing good, things go wrong. Why? Why not is the real question. We need balance. You can't appreciate the good if you don't receive some bad. Call it math, karma, balance, whatever.

The key to success, whether it be business or pleasure, is to maintain your purpose.
Keep you eyes on the prize, and when the little things get in the way; Just Deal With Them.

You cannot postpone mundane activities if they are essential to your becoming.
Be wide open, and especially in tune with what is going on around you.
As much as you want to block out any haters, they are there for support whether you think so or not.

We are driven by challenge. A hater in this case, is a small challenge to throw you down when you are coming up. Notice, these people always have something bad to say, usually no positives either. Eat the comments, eat the hatred, and especially eat the negative vibes.
What doesn't kill you only makes you crazy enough to keep going. If you keep going, that craziness will pay off big time.

Anything worth while is long term. There is no such thing as a short term come-up that is big enough to impact. Even lottery players, spent over thousands of dollars in their lifetime tyo hit the mega millions. Some people only got their money back.

In essense, we as people need to drop what the fab is and do what the neccesarry requires us to do.
We are living short lives, and only cutting them shorter by wasting time on others who have no use in our journey's as humans to become better.
In all reality, you waste more time being bored and finding the next trend, than starting your own.

Take the movie, "Anger Management" (starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson), the one question you hear in this movie that sets off the entire mood is "Who are you?"
The way Adam Sandler answers is always incorrect. The right answer, is "me".

There are no rights or wrong, however. I can never preach what I cannot do myself.
Doing dirt, creates dirt. I too have done my share.
Believe what you need to believe, do what you feel you have to do. Just remember you are NOT alone. Think carefully, and be mindful of others when it comes to your doings. Consequences will take surface if it is necessary.

And that's Real.

Those People...

You know who I'm talking about. The people who have to give you a piece of mind for every single thing you do. Usually not in the "good opinion" section of how you process their words. Usually seems negative. Well, if you got these people on you back daily, the best way to throw them off guard is to start agreeing with them. Then, disagree. Throw them off course. They need to get that so-called problem of theirs off your back. You didn't cause their current situation. If you did, go apologize today.

And that's Real.

Whine and Fined

Thinking back to original work and time.
When you put your money in your mouth and got quality results,
those results allowed you to get the benefits of a better life.
A happy boss = a happy upgrade. (At least most of the time.)
Not everyone can get these upgrades easily.
You got to stand out.
No matter the profession, when your cornered in too often you will feel the aches.
A happy you = a happy everyone else. (usually.)
Some might not enjoy your good day with you.
Not your problem, but don't rub anything in any one's face.
Share is caring. Caring is daring. (......)

Bite bullets, Save the day, and most importantly Remain humble.
Your mission in life shouldn't be to be the best.
You will always lose that battle.
Be your best. Now that says a lot more, no?

The Beating of a Life Driven by Insanity

What is it to be driven by the things we lust, yearn, and could die for?

Passion is a word better known for smell, desire, and any beginning title for a product used best to make the nights a little more interesting.

The idea of passion though is to connect to us in a way we feel this moment in time is perfect.
It can be turned into greater or worse.

Passion, however, could be the one thing that turns you from yourself to your alter-ego.
This alter-ego has no-holds-barred written all over its forehead.

In life we strive to accomplish many dreams. Some praised, others frowned upon.
Regardless of the matter, the passion we have inside of us can be the one thing to make us or break us.

In workforce, living matters, and love-related; this passion we build up comes from childhood, builds in teen years to get a more precise idea, and then turns into the final product.

For some of us, it means to reach our current position in life, and others to give more of a way to get where we need to be.

Passion will take you far, and as long as you don't let it become the entire prospect of things, can show to be very enriching.

Taking matters into your own hands is mainly driven from passion in the soul.
We can be idolized and get the content feeling of satisfaction, or we can build a dream from the stone in the ground to the skyscraper in the air.

Passion is one thing we can all agree is a driving force in our lives and will determine how far we go, including any backtracks or hold-ups.

Today, is the day to let your passions come alive and get you somewhere into a place of satisfaction.

The photo-shoots, the complete paintings, the finished products, the recording studios, the show-cases tonight, and even the accounts squared between two business ready to make things go up and steady.

Some of us might not have anything going on currently to apply this idea, but if this is the case be aware that time is of importance. Today is to start this project. Today you don't need a million things done. Today you just need the blueprint. Worry about the rest tomorrow.

The more you fill your plate with food, the harder it becomes to chew and eat.
Then again, the more you try to eat when there's nothing on the plate, becomes a starving situation.

Keep your eyes open and up to the sky.
The limit you hold, is on your own terms.
Be your own champion, so others have something to inspire them.

And that's Real.

Living life on Crutches...

Too many times you can say to yourself,
I need to be my own person. I need to have my own things.

Positive and Negatives can play major roles, but the negatives always have their good as well as good has its bad.

Where do we start?

Let's think about the positives of being on your own.
1. You can do anything shamelessly and not get hassled. (Unless you live with someone.)
2. People respecting your own rules when in your home.
3. Bathroom is yours. (Many of us need this for whatever reason.)

Negatives:
1. Massive bills (CRAZY.)
2. No one cooking you breakfast. (Sorry mom.)
3. Longer time waiting for another big purchase. (Someday...Flat Screen HDTV.)

These might seem pointless but the next time you decide to do things your way and not the way people think you should go, be ready to prove your self more to your checking account then your so called "judgmental crew." The toll will wiegh heavier here than any type of opinion you feel you need approval.

Staying at home at any age for a little time is smart. You want to worry about getting laughed at or judged wrong? Mind yourself, the others will have their turn if they want to laugh now.

Save up your money. Whether you want to pursue a career in music (TONS OF EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT), art (Books, Programs, Supplies, etc.), or even go back to school; it all takes a lot of sacrificing.

Nothing is wrong with wanting to better yourself if the intentions are for your own sanity. No one else will walk you through your life unless there's incentive for them to hold you.

Live smart. Pay the price. Get it right.

And that's Real Talk.

When is enough, enough?

Well when is it?

Sometimes the hardest thing to give up are things you care most about.
It's funny how we take the small things in life for granted and make such a huge deal about the big things we trash up anyways.

Think about priorities.
If you are handed something most of your life, the odds of you taking care of what you get are very slim, but not too rare...but somewhere near it.

If you worked hard your whole life, as you are meant to one way or another you start taking the value in things you own more seriously.

If this hasn't happened to you, it will. If it never gets to, lucky you.

What about the small things though?
Time spent with parents, siblings, or relatives. he time we have is borrowed. Give someone a call today. IT COULD BE ANYONE. Someone who appreciates the call more than someone who might end up calling you tomorrow anyways.

TAKE A BREAK.

Whether your in tough times or in a recent clash, take a break from the stress.
It's time to put more value into your eyes for the smaller things.

STRESS IS WEAKNESS.

Take a drive with your best friend(s), significant other, or someone you wouldn't mind sitting next to for the next hour or so. Take a road trip this year. It's not hot everywhere but that is no excuse.

NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE ABOUT PARTIES AND SPRING BREAKS.

Everything in life is surely an experience. Some might be cool to you now, or you might get the short end of the stick when a small good time could lead to a long destroying self image. You are perfect the way you are, you don't need to be the center of attention to be the center of attention.
Sometimes even being the quiet one makes you the most desirable one.

STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE THINGS YOU THINK IS WHAT IS "IN".

Think about all the advice you give to your friends. Bad or good, we've all given out the bad before, which in turn can lead to some good for the night, but bad for the worrying mind for weeks if not months.

RELAX.

You think you're in a bad position now?
Some people are dying to make the same moves to get there.
That position?
A stupid decision.
Take the time to give out some good advice to your close people and so on.
Show them experience.
Take the time in doing some helpful work to get a smile.
I promise one smile created through your efforts will take place of 5 different bad things you had to do just to feel good for 10 minutes!

BE YOUR OWN PERSON AND DON'T SETTLE.

If you think you're in a tough spot where you might think about leaving who your with to catch some fling, just remember the consequences. Don't get bit. If you do, don't start to cry or whine. You asked for this. Then again if you know where you are is hard to let go, but you know if you stay you'll end up crying anyways. Leave. It's better for everyone. Trust me.
Take what you got, appreciate it and move on.

TAKE LIFE'S LESSONS AS A GUIDE.

Karma? Dejavu? Negative. Just Cause and Effect.
Life is a circle. One you have to deal with til it's over to continue onto the next.
You do dirt, you get dirt.
You plant seeds, you get crop.
We will meet over a million people in our lifetime, all with similar stories to that of yours, and ones that will cause you to break away from where you are and explore somewhere else.
Caught interest is deadly but can be 1000% positive if the right stuff comes your way.
The opportunity to go skiing in the mountains is great. Getting to overhaul your self on bad decisions, might cause damage.

The only thing I will say to you all is that you all have to make decisions to grow.
Everyone wants to experience something. Temptation is our biggest enemy at times.
Eating that fudge brownie when you know you've got a competition you;ve been working for months for. No one's saying don't eat the brownie, but you need to relax on how many of them you ate. One won't hurt. Five will. I only say this because of facts in nutrition you can easily get from the box.

Everyone needs to see thigns for themselves.

Sometimes knowing you neighbors experience an give you a good ideas of what to expect.

SIT DOWN AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO DO.

LIFE IS NO GAME TO CHEAT IN.
YOU WILL ALWAYS LOSE WHEN YOU CHEAT AT ANYTHING.
(It just may take a little while to occur)

Don;t take no for an answer when you want a yes. But don;t tist arms to get it.
THERE'S ALWAYS TOMORROW TO START OVER.

WHO SAID YOU HAD TO WAIT?
(oh right...you're still on that vacation in the mountains....well maybe right after that)

Once again readers I thank you all for taking the time to check this out.
Real Talk is pro-life. Due to experience in what the opposite actions might turn into, this is why it is how it is.

And that's Real.

Changes - Possible or Impossible?

Whoever said change is impossible is ridiculous.
This one goes out to those who have been blinded by the past and are haunted by it.
Changing a person is impossible, most definitely. Unless of course they work for you as a model, not definitely.
But if you have someone in your life who has either moved onto a different path or is going their separate way no matter how hard it is, you can't change the history you had or the future you might not have.

We can't change another person ever. Even if you did, it's wrong.
Think about your worst fight with a significant other. They have done you wrong, but in their eyes they're still figuring themselves out. As much as you want to change what events have occurred between the two of you, it happened for you to move on, not stick around and say "It's OK, it's OK. I understand why." Big N-O. Because it's not OK.

Maybe you're the person doing the damage. If this is you, well you know how it works. You got to want to change yourself, and you know it'll happen when it's meant. It sure will happen. If it hasn't yet, you're not fully grown to your maturity. If you're 35 years old cheating and lying to your spouse, there is most definitely a problem. A problem the other person can't fix or couldn't change about the other person before their vows.

KNOW who you are dealing with.

You can't change the way someone makes you feel, and vice-versa.
You can't change how someone acts towards you, but you can change the way you act towards someone else. The problem today is control.
Control is knowing you feel dominant or liberal. You don't want to stop the chasing, the fun, and the excitement. If you're in the position to say you're not enjoying that already, maybe you could have been if you had made an effort to have some without someone controlling it for you.
BE THE CONTROLLER.

You may not be able to change who you are, you're personality, or your urges; but what you can do is control your future and your actions. Saying NO to what you know is right for you and for anyone depending on you. Saying YES at the right time to things that might not lead anywhere today, but have a potential gain later on.

You gotta give a little, to get a little.
That is the way the world works.
Everyone wants freebies, everyone wants to play this game of life with you.
Don't try to say to yourself you never have. If you truly haven't, after this you will.
However, there's positive to being used. Your feelings at the moment might be immature, weak, and vulnerable; but the possibilities of being down can only mean the complete opposite later on. Your time will come, and you'll remember who treated you like a person and not a tool. They will wash your hands after you washing theirs. You will wash the hands that washed yours someday as well.

Be alert. The best way to avoid these bad changes is to change your steps into what you know you have faced by looking into the past.

Everyday is a new day, but the occurrences that happen might surprise you. Call it Karma?
Either look away, turn around, or whatever it takes for you to give the red for the bad, and the green for the good.

And that's Real Talk.

How Sick Are We?

In a world of truth and diversity, the story of each character is more realistic than you could ever imagine or believe. This idea is tampered with when greed and corruption begin to take hold of what is available. Another way to look at this is obsession. Obsession can kill a person, by health and mind. When your judgment is based on a want more than a need, it becomes hard to recognize which is more important. Self-relief becomes a priority over self-improvement. Don't be fooled as to what self-improvement really is. Recall the past or your prior experience, and proceed with caution.

How does this affect us The People?
Believe it or not it does. Think about the worst salesman you have ever met. Not only is he a liar, but he wants to give you in most cases, a smaller or used portion of the product. You get a used car that looks great, smells amazing, and then you finally sit in it a day in and already noticing every small detail. Like a gash in the seat...between your legs. Not crazy yet. Until your neat freak side, if you have one, switches into engage.

Processed Food.
Think about the food we eat today. Most of the stuff is preserved with chemicals and even bleached with the same stuff we clean our laundry with. More true than you believe (some "Natural" products are fraud). In any event, all of this information can be easily looked up all over the internet. What you eat and your habits are your gateway from living stress, toxin-free and overly-stressed, toxic.

Smoking and Drinking.
Stress-relievers, but if over-used, might take away any days left to enjoy and then some.
Notice, the best time for smoking is after you've consumed the drink and need to shake off the buzz. Well, at least calm it down. Personally, no matter how many times you can reach over to grab a cigarette, it tastes horrible and leaves the headache you thought you might get rid of. Not happening. Drinking is great when going out or attending a party. Everyone needs to get loose. But the two of these, when not doing anything at all, would be just like killing time. There is so much more in life you can be doing. Conquering fears, proving yourself worthy of things you want, without putting your life in the red. These two habits are also very very expensive. Think of all the other things you can be doing with your money. Saving, donating, retiring. One way or another you should be able to enjoy the habits you do have, but do not let a habit become a routine. Habits at one point were once in a while stress relievers and for the time being happy enhancers, but that only lasts for so long before the last straw on the camels back causes it collapse. Relief has it's price. This is one thing you DON'T want to afford. Rich or poor.

Budgeting is great. When you spend more time with the family, significant other, friends, or even at our workplace keeping busy or having fun without spending 1/4 of your ends. Budgeting helps you achieve personal goals you've always wanted to set for yourself without giving you a nasty overhead or a nasty fly on your back wanting to suck your life away with payments. Save up what you can afford to save. Exclude your long term savings.

Vacations.
Even if your not the type to go out to parties, beaches, or anywhere that you cannot stand too much of noise or people. These are great. No matter where you go, no one knows you, so if you happen to find a nice beach to read your books, not saying to be nasty to anyone, but stand your space and declare some. Especially if there's plenty of beach to go around. A nice mood-setting drink might be in order too. I'll take a corona and lime. The ice cream, too.

Am I telling you to stop your comfortable lives? Not at all.
What I do suggest is home-cooked meals, sports/games for the family, outings/barbecues, and positive out-looking for a self-dependent life. Be in charge of your own routine. Live how you want, but take care of yourself. That car can only go so many miles without maintenance.
The road that lies ahead is a lot bumpier than meets the eye; but when you train yourself to drive properly and safely, the odds of an accident or surprise is dramatically low.

And that's Real Talk.

For your convenience

I've customized a search engine to direct you into areas I believe to be a positive influence.
Feel free to type in anything. Hope your search brings you to a new beginning.

Rivalries: The Common Itch

Have you ever sat in on loud yelling, snotty attitudes, corny comebacks, and worst of all-- out of spite revenge attacks?

If you haven't, these common occurrences often happen between who? Siblings.
If you don't have these relationships that you cannot help but love, or not-- the best way to describe the highest level of revenge usually happens here. Attention is usually the case. Headaches, too.
However, sometimes it happens between good friends. For some people that's a BFF.
In this case you have the same issue, except you have more of a somewhat familiar competition. Usually a opposite gender is the target of the problem, sometimes an unwillingness to talk about something bothering one or the other.

In either case the relationship, as strong as you may think it is, can go hay-wire and things could get worse and worse. Until you have found some ground with the situation, these things could go on forever.
Sometimes closure or an explanation to something you don't understand will clear the way.
For instance, actions.

A solution I propose is to really talk to yourself about what you are having a tough time dealing with, and then move from there. Talking it out helps. Just don't keep talking so people will feel bad for you. Show yourself you want a change, and then change it. The effects may not be to yo expectations, but they could be. Better to know for sure, than never know at all. Especially, if the other person being talked to is the problem and you don't want to end things on a bad note.

Best friends and/or siblings is hard to come by in these days. Everyone has their own agenda, but in all reality, the fun is where it started in the beginning. For others, the fun is to come when you have someone with the same interests who can also challenge your opinion and make you want to learn more from one another and share experiences.

No one likes having their foot stepped on, so account for your actions.
Sometimes a victory, is actually a loss. And vice-versa.

This weekend and on should be a great time with the people who REALLY have your backs, and those who, though might not tell you what you want to hear, will give you an idea of where you know where you are, where you'd like to go, and where you might want to end up.

Remember, life is a thrill as well as an adventure. Nothing goes as planned ever, but having your tools in front of you will most likely finish the job versus trying to make a cheeseburger with no cheese.

We want to build a house, not a shed. Unless you have a house and happen to need a shed. Which in turn will find storage for your tools.

And that's REAL.

These awkward days...

For most of us, the stress is piling up and we have nowhere to turn to but our peers, family, and significant others to let out the rage.

I say this to you all out there to keep faith no matter where it lies. We all have something in us that says keep going, don't give up.

What happens when the other voice starts to agree with your poor attitude? Then what? We can hide in a grave for a few years if we'd like to. I personally don't think that's worth a shot. We could sit and discuss with ourselves and whoever is of importance to your decision-making to organize your priorities. Organize your budget and your activities. Getting a better attitude starts from within, and sometimes ice cream or chocolate. But seriously, organization will keep you off your slump, and into a new idea. The voices will have less time to discuss anything. Just be sure to always keep the sane and responsible voice abroad.

A better attitude is the key to any success. Whether you've lost money, job, or someone close. The positive outlook will cure all of these foul-mood pioneers. Starting a new hobby or a new dvd might start it up. No one said to stop doing what you like doing: shopping for new toys, play guitar, etc..

Whatever your choice is, make it positive. And certainly make it last.
